Biden to Visit Wisconsin as Recall Movement Begins

Vice-president Joe Biden will visit Wisconsin on October 26, as the state’s voters undertake a recall campaign against Tea Party Governor Scott Walker. More than 20,000 showed up at an Occupy Milwaukee protest Saturday morning.

Biden is a popular figure in Wisconsin. His visit comes after a long period of Wisconsin wondering where the White House was during the months-long demonstrations against cuts in collective bargaining rights. Previously, President Obama and Biden were frequent visitors to the Badger state.

According to Bulletin sources, Obama will make an appearance of his own as the campaign season intensifies.
