      Clarification on the Assange/WikiLeaks Case

The Bulletin story on WikiLeaks originally stated that Leonard Weinglass and Michael Ratner had “joined the defense team.” In fact they are associated with the case as “Lawyers available for comment” along with three others. Weinglass and Ratner have met in London with WikiLeaks and other lawyers for the defense. Discussions are ongoing about how the legal case will be managed.

Since, Amazon cut off Wikileaks from their online abilities, will there be another site where donations can continue to be made to Wikileaks and/or a Defense Fund?

I would like to contribute funds at this time.

Glad to see Weinglass and Ratner are supporting Julian. Codepink has collected 400,000 signatures siding with Wiki. Washington post had a poll up early this week...and the majority supported wiki...this must be driving the corporate news pundits crazy as they all call for the assassination (without a trial) without evidence of anything. Should NYTimes, Der Spiegel and other newspapers be put in prison for publishing the documents. We are losing our civil rights on a daily basis. Obama did nothing to end the patriot act and further violations of american civil liberities. Its time to primary Obama, I agree with Nader, Firedog Lake, and Bold Progresives. If we the people dont PUSH Obama to supporting the working people, instead of the Wall Street elites...we will have no democracy. We will have a corportacry.
