      School of Activism: Session 1

      Reader Comments (2)

There are a number of resources that would be useful to mention to those who would like to counter recruiters and work for the demilitarization of our schools. The group I work for has been organizing around this for 26 years: Project on Youth and Non-Military Opportunities (Project YANO), http://www.projectyano.org. But there is also a national directory of local, regional and national organizations that is maintained by the National Network Opposing the Militarization of Youth (NNOMY). NNOMY's web site is the richest collection of resources on the topic, and it has a discussion group that can put people in touch with over 600 organizers nationwide. Learn more at www.nnomy.org.

Great work I am very greatful to you Tom.

Western Democracy needs an overhaul. This is something I am doing in New Zealand after facing year after year of manipulated idiots in power.

      Any advice is warmly welcomed.

      Best wishes Chris

Key points of this campaign are:

Democracy needs to be modified all around the world.

      Politicians are destroying our countries.

Time for New Rules to control their employment.

We - you the people own government.

Government is a trust structure the people own (people forget that)

We confer power to politicians to care for that government trust.

But for too many years politicians have been failing and our countries are fast being destroyed.

People own government so can and must demand - total access to a jury to hear the problems people have with government/judicial systems that;-

      1- Doesn't care

      2- Has no common sense

      3- Has a hidden agenda

      4- Is corrupt

5- Is set up to make money for others at our expense

People need to demand the removal of Immunity laws politicians and judges hide behind because it is destroying us because we can't hold them accountable.

People can't afford endless prices rises for- food, rent, mortgage, power etc things must change and its up to the people.

See what I am doing in New Zealand-

      Good reading - http://lawisanass-wingate.blogspot.com/2011/02/saving-new-zealand-objective-here-is.html
