The ruling on whether or not Julian Assange will be extradited to Sweden is scheduled Wednesday, November 2.A UK judicial panel will rule on Julian Assange’s extradition appeal this Wednesday, November 2. The ruling is expected to be in the form of a lengthy written decision.
“Whether Julian succeeds or fails here, it is of course what is waiting in the wings further down the line that is of the greatest concern,” a member of his legal team wrote the Bulletin, referring to the anticipated effort to extradite him to the United States on charges of a WikiLeaks conspiracy to distribute thousands of secret cables.
The Washington Times, published by the far-right Reunification Church, is reporting that the US Army soon will hold a pre-trial Article 32 hearing on its evidence against Pfc. Bradley Manning, accused of downloading and disseminating classified military cables. Whether Manning will be charged with conspiracy linking him to Assange and WikiLeaks is uncertain.

If Augustin Pinochet could win a fight against extradition from Britain to face charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity, it would be pretty shameful to see Julian Assange extradited to face trumped-up charges for REPORTING war crimes.
Observe!! Thomas Bodström ex minister of justice in Sweden, sais today, that it is completely normal, that Sweden coworks with CIA,as they did in allowing CIA to get the two egyptians on swedish territory. CIA then flew them to Egypt for torture. At least one of them was innocent,as he got a lot of money from Sweden as compensation, though he is not allowed to reunite with his family.Keep Julian Assange from this rotten country.

It's interesting that you should mention the Pinochet case, as the barrister fighting to have Assange extradited is none other than Claire Montgomery QC, the very barrister that defended Pinochet against extradition!
I am totally against extradition!!! We have a right to know the truth even if it is embarrassing to certain countries. I am grateful to Assange for helping to get the truth out. We cannot change this world without the truth being known!
